On June 30, 2017, the first session of teaching skills training camp was carried out in lecture hall 206. It has been a rewarding afternoon to have experts from Foreign Languages Department and other schools to make comments on the contestants’ performance and give advices. The experts include Dean Gong and associate professor Yu from Foreign Languages Department, professor Deng from Education Department and Ms. Sun Ying from Ningde No. 10 Middle School, and other teachers.

The five contestants from grade 2014 showed microteaching one by one, and the teachers make comments and give advices accordingly. They pointed out the importance of detailed comprehension on the New English Curriculum for Chinese Primary Schools and Junior/Senior Middle Schools. In addition, Professor Deng Huiming guided the contestants how to write the correct teaching plan from five aspects. The contestants have learned a lot from the training session; hope they will make greater progress in the future.
