Dana went to the Affiliated Primary School of Ningde Normal University with the adviser Miss Zhou in the afternoon of October 20, 2016 to give some advice to the senior students about their internship. Dana is a very earnest person. She often comes to our school and gives us much help. She said she loved China, and Ningde is her favorite city, because she had many friends here.

Dana intended to communicate with the pupils of the English Interest Group. Before the lesson, Dana visited the school, which is very beautiful and advanced. And during the class, Dana asked all the students to introduce themselves. Students in Grade 3 and Grade 4 were very shy, and didn’t know how to express clearly. But Dana was patient, and she waited for the answers with a brilliant smile on her face. Then she taught the students a lovely song. Some words of the song might be difficult for the students, but all of them were enthusiastic. They sang the song loudly and followed Dana’s tempo seriously. After the class, students were not willing to say goodbye to Dana, and they hoped that Dana would come to see them again.

The senior students who major in English education learned a lot from this lesson. Dana has solid experience in teaching, so if we want to be a teacher like her, we should practice more and have zeal to teach.
