本人于2013年7月2日至2013年7月23日有幸与其他11名同仁到澳大利亚纽卡斯尔大学教育系进行为期23天的访学。此次访学团的主要内容不仅学习了《英语语言学》、《第二语言习得》、《英语教学法》、《英语测试学》等相关课程，观摩了纽卡斯尔大学语言培训中心针对来自不同国家不同水平学生开设的英语课程,而且积极参加了与纽卡斯尔大学英语语言培训中心、纽卡斯尔大学音乐学院、澳洲土著文化研究所、国际教育部及孔子学院的交流活动。为期23天的澳洲培训成为我人生中最难忘的经历。在澳洲的每一天都给我留下了深刻的印象，我不仅在课堂上学习到了先进的英语教学理论和教学方法，口语和听力水平得到了提高，更在日常学习和生活中切身地感受到了中西方文化的差异及澳洲的独特魅力。
I, along with the other 11 fellow teachers, had this great opportunity to spend 23 days (from 2nd to 23rd, July, 2013) at New Castle University in Australia. During the visit, a considerable amount of time was devoted to the exploration and its effective use of authentic foreign language teaching supplied by the Language Training Center of Newcastle University which aims to cater for various English teaching demands of different countries. In the process, we were kindly invited to many exchange activities held by Newcastle University. This 23-day Australian trip has been an unforgettable experience for me, which gave me fascinating insights into its unique and original English teaching theory and subtle approaches to better results. I was able to put English to great use on this rare occasion—noticeable improvements followed, felt the distinct cultural differences during our stay and greatly enjoyed our tours of Australia’s striking sights when we could afford the time .
